Multi-talented songwriter and musician Rainer Bloss began to work with Alphaville in 1987, collaborating on many songs and occasionally performing live with the band. On his 1998 album Drive Inn III four of the tracks -- "Dawn Patrol," "Eternal Restroom," "Mysterion" and "Metamorphosis" -- were co-written by Marian Gold ("Mysterion" later appeared on Alphaville's Dreamscapes). Sadly, Rainer passed away in December 2015.
